It was a must for the entry at this Wheaton residence to fit with the style and color scheme of the newly built home. To keep with the lines of the architecture, the clients wanted an inviting rectilinear entry, but with some custom features added. Blending in and enhancing the beautiful architecture of the home was also of utmost importance during the design process. We used natural stone, clay and concrete based products to construct the driveway, walkway and seating wall portion of the entryway. A natural stone wall with thick, lush plantings were installed to add interest and beauty to the front yard. The plantings and materials chosen were intended to stand out but not detract from the architectural detail. Matching building materials used on the homes’ exterior tied the entryway in with the home nicely.
