Design & Sales Process
Design ProcessYour ideas are important to us.
We value your input in the design process and try to make this as simple as possible.
In the initial call, we will collect your personal contact information such as your name, address, phone number(s), e-mail address, landscaping needs, etc. We then match you with a landscape architect that fits your landscaping desires. He/she will contact you and set an appointment at your convenience in the comfort of your own home.
During the first consultation at your home, our landscape architect will interact with you to generate ideas to gain a clearer vision of your landscaping needs. He/she will take pictures, review photos, and exchange ideas for what you are looking for. At the end of the meeting, you will have a timeline of when you will receive the drawing/proposal and a possible timeframe for construction.
Your thoughts and ideas guide the third step, the designing. Back at our office, our landscape architects aspire to create the perfect design in a timely manor. Upon completion, he or she will contact you for a second consultation at your home to review the proposal and drawing. After any revisions on the drawing or proposal are complete and you are ecstatic about the design, we can begin the construction process.
Benefits of Good Landscaping
Increase Property Value
According to an article in Money Magazine, a nicely landscaped property can increase its value 100-200 percent, compared to other home improvements such as kitchen renovation at 75-125%, bathroom renovation 80-120%, and adding a swimming pool 20-50%.
Increase Livable Space
With landscape design done correctly, you get the benefit of walking into outdoor rooms just like the rooms in your house such as areas for cooking, dining, recreation, and relaxation. Now you can spend more quality time with your family and friends in nature instead of indoors all of the time.
With the right plants placed in the right area, you are allowed screening from your surrounding neighbors and possibly blocking unpleasant views. This gives you more of a feeling you were placed into nature with more of an intimate setting.
Reflect an Owner's Wants and Needs
Designing for outdoor living ensures outdoor spaces that are created to reflect the true wants and needs of a home or business owner. It also causes them to think hard about how they will really use their home.
